COSP Facilitator Training

The In-Person 4-day COSP Facilitator training is available in certain markets. As new sites are confirmed, the listing below will be updated. This training is eligible for 2.4 IACET continuing education units.

A 1-week Online COSP Facilitator training that is designed to be an immersive experience designed for those able to clear their schedules for a week and focus exclusively on the training content, which includes ~16 hours of recorded video plus ~10 hours of live online discussion with a COSP Trainer. Learners tell us that they spend a total of ~35 hours in total completing this blended learning experience so this online training format is not recommended for those unable to commit to making the COSP Training their primary focus for the week. This training is eligible for 2.4 IACET continuing education units.

A 2-week Online COSP Facilitator training that allows providers not able to clear their schedules to have access to the exact same material as the 1-week online training. Instead of meeting every day for a week for live sessions, however, this training includes live sessions spread in ~2-hour chunks across a 2-week span. Learners tell us that both evening and weekend study are required to complete this blended learning experience, particularly when the learner is working full-time. This training is eligible for 2.4 IACET continuing education units.

These COSP trainings are conducted primarily in Norwegian by trainers who adapt the language to include Swedish and Danish when presenting in Sweden or Denmark. Trainings held in Sweden include video and written materials in Swedish and trainings held in Denmark include video and written materials in Danish. Norwegian language trainings are available as either online/live streamed or in-person trainings. Each training lasts 4 days. Learners who attend these trainings will attain a COSP certification assuming they do not miss any of the 4 days of training. If an attendee does miss a day of training, they will have the opportunity to make up that missed day in a later training at no additional cost.
