Conditions such as depression, stress, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss can affect us all as part of our human existence and sometimes we need support to help us work our way through these experiences as to heal and make a way forward in a new place of being. I have used COS with caregivers and parents in groups or one on one. I have been working with children, families and carers in the out of home care system for over 9 years, and currently work part time as a Therapeutic Specialist based in Gippsland. My training and background is in Art Therapy and DDP. My area of expertise is Developmental Trauma and Attachment with families, caregivers, adults and children.

I am willing to provide evening and weekend training for parents needing COSP.

Shalom Austin Jewish Family Service offers Circle of Security Parenting groups facilitated by Mary Catherine Dickerson. Participants of the COSP group do not need to be members of the Dell JCC.

Dr. Kendra Massie is a Clinical Child Psychologist with over 15 years experience providing specialized psychological services for families and caregivers. She is a Registered Circle of Security Parenting™ and Circle of Security Classroom™ Educator with a high level of training and experience in supporting caregiver-child relationships (i.e., attachments). Services are delivered in-person and virtually.

Dr. Massie provides assessment, therapy, counselling, and consultation services for families, infants/preschoolers, children/adolescents, and adults. She also delivers workshops/seminars and intervention groups to agencies and schools. Her approach and techniques are “evidence-based” and largely informed by attachment, emotionally focused, and cognitive-behavioral treatment modalities. She combines her high level of professional knowledge and skills with her clients’ hopes and goals to help her clients obtain meaningful change.
