Groups through CAMHS

I offer the regular Circle of Security Parenting program spread out over 8 weeks, usually on evenings, though on demand. I also offer an abbreviated intensive option for parents with limited time & resources who still want to take a deep-dive into attachment & parenting. I run my courses via Zoom, and they’re usually in Dutch (although using the English materials), but if there’s demand for an English local group: contact me, we’ll set it up.

Once a parent with young children myself, COSP program helped me navigate countless of uncertainties in the parenting journey and gave me a valuable tool to understand my children’s needs, strengthen our bond and foster a secure relationship with my children. I have also witnessed the positive changes which COSP brought to other families. I look forward to working with you in raising resilient, secure and emotionally intelligent children through COSP.

Pathfinders Inverell Family Youth Support Service (IFYSS) is privileged to provide this program to the Inverell community, helping to strengthen the connection between parents and children. Programs run regularly throughout the year and are open to all parents and carers.

I work at the EarlyON Centre in Stratford Ontario through Perth Care for Kids. We offer parent session throughout the year. These sessions may be offered in person or via Zoom.

Caregiving is difficult at the best of times. Add in the complexities of supporting a child or teen who is struggling and parenting becomes even more challenging. It can be hard to know where to turn to get support for you, your child or teen, and your whole family. I am here to help. I have worked in children’s mental health for 18 years supporting children and youth with mental health and behavioural difficulties and their families. Together we can develop a plan to support your loved one. I will teach you the skills you need along the way.
The way you parent has not caused your child’s struggles. It can, however, help lead them through their challenges. I will not ask you to do more; I understand the exhaustion and burnout of trying to hold everyone together. Focusing on small, manageable shifts can make a world of difference for everyone involved. We’ll figure out together where to start.
Additionally, we can overcome what gets in the way if you feel like you struggle to be the parent you want to be. I can help you find joy in parenting and work more collaboratively with your co-parent.
