My practice focuses mainly in child/youth, adult, and family based demographics. I have specialized in neurodivergent affirming care with somatic experience therapy and attachment based therapy. I have 10+ years experience in working with youth, families, and grassroot community organizations focused on community wellness. I use COSP as a guide to support parents, caregivers, and adults navigating their experiences with attachment styles along with teaching the process of attachment and attunement in a non-judgmental environment. Further to this, I use COSP as a visual and narrative process in learning attachment and co-regulation. This can be done one-one (in person/virtual) and in a group setting (virtual). I am able to adjust learning platforms based on participants learning and engagement needs/group based needs.

I would be providing virtual evening/weekend based groups (can discuss in person groups based on location).

I conduct Circle of Security Parenting courses in 8-week durations as evening weekly sessions, three times a year (in school term times) in metropolitan Melbourne in Victoria. I was trained as a Circle of Security Parenting Facilitator in 2017, and my previous background was 12 years as a music therapist clinically trained in Attachment theory, and psychodynamic psychotherapy at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge U.K. From 2003 to 2017 in the U.K and in Australia in my clinical work, I worked with children and families in children centres, children and adults with intellectual disabilities, forensic psychiatry, dementia, and Acquired Brain Injury. I am also an ordained Pastor of the Lutheran Church of Australia, and in addition to Circle of Security Parenting courses I run a separate course bringing together Attachment science and theology for Christian parents or anyone interested in exploring the links between science and faith.

Our agency serves families of children ages birth to five years old. We have early learning or childcare programs, along with mental health consultation and services that includes family counseling around the primary needs of the child. We also have specialized classrooms to serve children ages 3-5 who are struggling with undiagnosed learning delays or trauma impacting their ability to function in the typical learning environment. Families in our program and in the community can access our infant and early childhood mental health consultation programming and join in our family and teacher workshops and trainings. We have delivered COS to our teachers and plan to launch another training for all of our mental health and specialized teaching staff this summer and engage families later in the Fall. Our groups are typically held at the end of the work day in the evenings to serve parents and teachers.
