I am a clinically trained Registered Social Worker (RSW) and psychotherapist with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) in good standing. Much of my clinical approach is primarily derived from narrative therapy practice and relational psychotherapy & social work practice. I use COSP to foster attachment- and trauma-responsive parenting in sessions or in group settings. I am specialized in working with adoptive or foster parents, as well as families who are being supported by the child welfare system.

I work at the EarlyON Centre in Stratford Ontario through Perth Care for Kids. We offer parent session throughout the year. These sessions may be offered in person or via Zoom.

I specialise in early autism and incorporate the tenets of COS into my work with families of young children who may be on the autism spectrum.

Naomi Wood possesses a degree in early childhood development and comprehensive training in Allied Health and the disability sector. Her extensive early intervention background equips her to comprehensively address your Family and Child’s needs. Naomi is deeply dedicated to advocating for children in diverse environments. Additionally, she has pursued advanced studies, including the Circle of Security Parenting Program and Hanen Communication, among other relevant training programs.
