Find-A-Facilitator

I work with children who have experienced trauma and I offer COSP to their parents/caregivers. I am also interested in working with parents of pre-teen and teenagers, helping them to navigate difficult and big feelings.

I am a registered Infant Mental Health Practitioner and can provide COSP privately to families and/or small groups in-person or online. I specialize in working with hard to reach families, adolescent parents, fathers and caregivers experiencing mental health issues. I can also provide COSC in early education settings, such as schools, early learning centres and family day-care settings. I am mainly available late afternoon, early evenings and at weekends.

I believe every single family unit, no matter what identifies you most can benefit from this course. I have met a fantastic array of families and no two have ever been the same, yet every single individual has been able to apply this course to their family and make a positive change whilst improving understanding of why the Circle of Security works across the ages from newborn to post teen! I have a lot of experience in working with Blended Families and have particular success in Co Parenting families whether that is with 1 or both separated parents present. I have sat both sides of the screen on this course as a family and as a professional. Within my style of delivery I always ask for attendees to bring someone with them on this journey, be that a partner, grandparent, sister or best friend…working together with someone else will always improve their learning opportunity and increase the impact of COS.

I am a pediatrician specializing in parent-infant mental health and early development. I am certified as an Infant Mental Health Clinical mentor and work closely with families to support their children’s development. I believe that the best way to promote development is through nurturing relationships. One of my favorite group facilitation activities is the Circle of Security groups. I offer these groups both in person in the greater Boston area and online. I particularly enjoy working with immigrant parents and have extensive experience in supporting children with developmental delays and autism. I have found that the Circle of Security approach is highly effective for these families. I also have a passion for working with LGBTQ families, although I am happy to work with any family. Additionally, I am fluent in Turkish. My next groups will begin in October, and I offer sessions in the evenings and on weekends. I am excited to meet you and support your family’s journey.
