I was an early childhood educator working in a daycare headstart for 12 years, for t he past 4 years I have worked for our First Nations C6 delegated Child & Family services as a Family Skills Worker, I have facilitated the circle of security both via zoom individually and in groups face to face. I enjoy the interaction that parents and caregivers have with each other, it is a very rich experience. I have found facilitating in the evenings, providing meals, transportation and a child minding allowance has knocked down some significant barriers for parents wanting to attend.

I work with all ages, but primarily younger children and their parents. I have conducted COS-P in many different settings. I trained in COS-P in 2017 and have used its content with almost every one of my families.

I am a passionate Early Childhood Leader, where Relationships are the foundation of my leadership style. Build effective and responsive realtionships in our sector is so important inculding children, families and our wider leadership team.

Building the caperbilities of our people working with our children, to ensure they are tuned in on children’s cues and understand all aspects of the Circle is important for the foundations of our programs. This is where the magic happens in our learning with children and can build them indiviually to be life long learners.

Hills Family Support Service facilitates morning and/or evening Circle of Security Parenting sessions weekly within school terms. This is a free service.
