Online COSP sessions for families

I have used COSP to deliver a group and an individual session. I have also used in therapy with clients.

Skye Dong holds a dual PhD and Doctorate of Clinical Psychology, and a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours I) from the University of Sydney. She has over a decade of clinical and research experience in hospital, private practice, and not-for-profit settings. She believes that successful therapy is both an art and a science, and aims to provide a collaborative experience built on a trusting therapeutic relationship, empathy, and understanding. She pursues this goal through providing direct clinical care (individual and group therapy), ongoing academic research, program development, and clinical supervision of trainees.

She has a strong interest in relational and psychodynamic psychotherapies in group therapy. Along with more common issues of anxiety and mood, her expertise is in working with those going through major life transitions. This includes parenting, perinatal difficulties, couples concerns, adjustment to loss, illness, chronic health conditions (particularly chronic pain, cancer, spinal cord injury, and life limiting illnesses), complex trauma (C-PTSD), and workplace burnout/ compassion fatigue. She continues to engage in active research particularly in the areas of meaning-making after loss. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. See www.skyedong.com for more information.

Completed COSP facilitation in 2020. Qualified social worker with experience of working with children and families. Special interest in supporting parents with the impact of domestic abuse on parents and on children.

Working for Queensland Health as an Early Intervention Parenting Clinician. I offer services to the community of Charleville and surrounds.
