Hi! My name is Sonia and I am in love with learning and education.

I co-founded a free nature school in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. In that wonderful space I work with children, their parents and their educators. I am facilitating learning experiences for all of them. When I am not at school facilitating, I am researching psychological safety, emotional security and belonging in schools around the world, with a focus on nature schools and self-directed schools.

I am a Mental Health practitioner, working with children and adults, in actions methods from Psychodrama to teaching classes about Mental Health and Well-being.

My working languages are Romanian and English and my working spaces are: the forest (and other nature environments) in Romania and occasionally other European countries & U.S.A., my school in Cluj-Napoca and online.

I am a family therapist specializing in infant and early childhood mental health. I work with parents and children involved with child protection, or struggling with issues of trauma, attachment, anxiety, and foster care.
