I am a trained COSP faciliator since 2021, able to facilitate COSP groups either online (anywhere) or in person (in Buncombe County, NC). I am available during the day and evenings. As a long time educator, I have a soft spot for young children and see that this reflection opportunity for parents can really impact the security that children feel at home. A secure attachment at home will have a positive impact on all aspects of a child’s life as well as easing the burden that many parents feel when they don’t understand the way children communicate their needs.

I am very passionate about supporting Parents on their Journey of Parenting and i love COSP parenting concepts of 30% of Good Parenting is good enough. This Program works and has significant outcomes. By using the tools given in the program’s parents will definitely see difference. I love how its relationship based as well. Since being licensed I have delivered to over 30 parents in the last 13 months. in a range of ways online, in a group, 1 on 1 and couples. evenings and weekends. please contact our Center on 0746813777

I have been using the COSP for 7+ years. Typically I work with young children and their families, but I am able and willing to work with older children and families as well. I am able to provide in person or over video courses. I have experiences with small groups of parents as well as staff. I have had the courses with single parents, to include fathers, as well as foster families. I also can do an introductory course on COSP for agencies with discussion.

Within the counselling space, COSP is used to assist parents (particularly those who’s child/ren have a disability) in creating a safe space and secure attachment with their children. By using the COSP framework, it helps parents to understand what their child is trying to communicate to them, especially when they are not verbally sharing their needs. By breaking down the framework so parents can apply it easily to their family dynamic, parents can see how to best meet the needs of their child. By fostering not only the child’s growth but the parents’ as well, it contributes to the connection and safety between parent and child.
