Work with parents and support services

I provide consultation to teachers/childcare providers who care for children birth to 5. I facilitate several trainings per year for teachers/childcare providers/parents. I facilitate a yearly Circle of Security Training for childcare providers/teachers using the classroom edition. I am available for the COS parent model as well.

I work with parents around perinatal mental health as a creative arts therapist. My particular specialty is with parents who have experienced trauma and are navigating issues with attachment and bonding with their baby. I can offer Circle of Security Parenting within the context of therapy, or in an in-person or virtual group. I have weekday and weeknight availability.

I have been a psycho -therapist for over 25 years. I work with families, children and teenagers and COS-P is part of my everyday practice; weather in clinic or facilitating a group. I have successfully facilitated more than 17 COS-P groups! My pride and joy when facilitating a group reside in a parent saying comments like: “this program made me reflect on the way I parent my child” or “this program has helped me to enjoy being a parent” or ” I realize that my parents did NOT connect with me, but that will NOT happen to my children”. In addition, I have been trained and have facilitated COS-C. I am bilingual and bi-cultural Spanish-English.
