I facilitate COSP as part of my role in my workplace.

am practicat consiliere in cadrul diferitelor proiecte si nu numai, atat cu parintii cat si cu copiii. in aceste experiente am depistat o multitudine de probleme fie de comportament fie de alta natura, probleme pe care le-am identificat initial si apoi le-am rezolvat impreuna cu parintii sau copiii.

I am a social worker who works with a range of clients from varying backgrounds. I practice inclusive, collaborative and culturally capable social work compassionately, respectfully, and in a caring way. I never take it for granted when I hear a person’s story; I appreciate how difficult it can be to open up and trust someone with your vulnerability. I use a range of evidence based therapies that are proven to be effective in helping to quickly relieve the symptoms of anxiety and depression, grief and loss, behaviours of concern. As a COSP facilitator, I have been complimented on not being judgemental when parents provided examples of their current parenting styles. It is important that participants are able to share information freely to enable the learning process. I have a number of years experience in facilitating the COSP program and highly value the experience this program offers to parents. I am flexible in work hours to suit the individual needs of parents who wish to take part in this reflective parenting program.

I’ve been delivering COSP since 2019. I really enjoy delivering it, and really see a difference in parents changing connection dynamics with their children or even with their partners and extended families. I also deliver BC Council of Families’ Nobody’s Perfect (families with children 0 to 6 yrs old) and My tween and Me (parents o children 7 to 12 yrs old). I also deliver many related parenting topics i.e. communication and family dynamics, prevention of conflict in families and other. i can co-facilitate and also can do parenting series. I deliver workshops in both English and Spanish. I can be available in ZOOM or other virtual platform to facilitate.

My experience as a psychologist, as well as a parent, have prepared me to become a COSP facilitator, an occupation which I am inspired to undertake in order to help caregivers smoothly navigate the parent – child relationship. As of January 2025, I organise sessions with parents in Bucharest, Romania.
