I provide Circle of Security Parenting classes for families in Pottawattamie County.

I work at a non profit where we have several facilitators. I also work independently. You can find me on RULA where you can be matched with me as a therapist. I work in groups and individually. I enjoy working with mothers and fathers who are parenting.

I am passionate about helping families grow in their relationships with each other. I will be using COSP in small groups or with individuals in my role as a Family Peer Supporter.

My primary focus area in social work is grief associated with ambiguous loss which has led me to subspecialities in attachment, trauma, and perinatal work. I complete Circle of Security individually or in groups with both in person or virtual options available. In my practice, I work with clients at all phases of life and have enjoyed completing Circle of Security with first time parents of all ages, experienced parents, grandparents, and with adults reflecting on relationships with their adult children. I have used Circle of Security as a part of a suite of educational programs to support parents navigating conflicts including parenting older children, between partners regarding parenting strategy, and related to setting boundaries with grandparents regarding parenting styles.

I have a private counselling practice, focused on young people aged 6 – 16yrs. I am working towards facilitating COSP programmes privately and for existing providers. I currently draw on the wisdom of the COSP programme for my work with parents of the young people I see and with the young people themselves.
