Find-A-Facilitator

Plan to co-facilitate to groups of 6-10 parents. I work with disadvantaged people in the Tallaght area of Dublin. Will also use on a one to one basis. The organisation I work for is non profit.

I work with parents at school and in private practice to empower them by teaching the Circle of Security Parenting concepts. When working with children and families, I use the Circle of Security framework to support parents.

I enjoy a living in Truckee, CA, where my private practice is located. My specialties include individual teen therapy, consultation with parents of teens, and individual therapy for adults. It is exciting for me to be a part of your journey. I am also fascinated by early attachment theory, thus my interest in Circle of Security Parenting. I love the COSP model for all caregivers, and especially young mothers. If you’re interested in learning some tools for creating a secure attachment with children between 4 months and 6 years, please contact me for information on weekday and weekend classes. My first introduction to COS-P began as a parent completing the course. My love of the program led me to become a certified facilitator.
I have been running COS-P groups since 2017. I curently co-facilitate two yearly groups (Fall & Spring) for parents of students enrolled in the local school district.

COSP informs the framework adopted in working with families, children and adolescents. Trading under the business name, ‘Alex and Me Therapy Team’ we offer animal assisted therapeutic interventions with a certified animal. One and one and small group availability, clients include self referred and NDIS participants.

ABOUT ME
-With many years teaching in educational environments I am very aware of delivering to you in a safe supportive space
-I also have experience in counselling, drugs and alcohol and trauma, as well as careers counselling and as a support worker to someone with extreme anxiety, PTSD, and depression.
-I have worked with all ages and cultures
-As a facilitator with Fast Path Parenting, I specialise in facilitation to mostly females one on one and female groups to create a safe inclusive learning environment.
To de-stress I like to climb mountains…. what’s your go to?

WHY US
-We also specialise in men’s only delivery with a male facilitator available, mixed groups, family and one on one delivery.
-Our operating hours cater as practically as possible to parenting and working parents, with the program delivered on some evenings and weekends, however these do book up fast so please book in early if possible.

I am a clinical psychologist working with children, young people and their families. I also have experience working with children in foster care and their supporting networks, including foster carers and social workers.

I can offer support via online or in person and have availability for evenings and weekends.
