Ashlee is a Registered Psychologist who has been providing mental health services to children, mothers and families since 2014. She has a special interest in Women’s Mental Health & Wellbeing, Parenting Support, and Perinatal and Infant Mental Health (PIMH) which focuses on the emotional health and development of parents and infants. She has worked in private practice for the last 7 years which has allowed her to support clients across the lifespan and from diverse cultural backgrounds.

She is fully registered with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA General), maintains membership with both the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS) and the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi), and is a Medicare provider.

Ashlee provides a safe and supportive environment for her clients with a caring, non-judgemental approach to therapy. Above all else, she is also an imperfect mother trying to navigate the pressures of parenting two small children.

Did you know that the first 5 years of a child’s life accounts for 90% of their brain development? These years provide a framework for how a person will be in relationship and teaches them what to expect of others. I am passionate about supporting parents and their young children to navigate this crucial time period of development including pregnancy.

At Connected Journeys Counseling you will be held as you gain deeper understanding of your own journey and learn to attune to your child’s needs. As a nationally endorsed Infant Mental Health Specialist I bring expertise and support to parents and caregivers.

I utilize COSP with individuals, couples and groups. I am an in-network provider with BCBS, Cigna, Aetna, United Healthcare, Oxford and Oscar Health and am happy to verify your insurance for services if you wish. All sessions and groups are currently being held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Facilitate the Circle of Security Parenting Program to disenfranchised populations with persistent stress and anxiety.

Provide clinical interventions in developmental psychopathology and behavioral health to predominantly underrepresented clientele and communities experiencing higher levels of stress, historical trauma, grief and loss, subsyndromal symptoms, substance use disorders (SUD), and/or co-occurring disorders. Supervise diagnoses, treatment, activities and test results to support families with ongoing psychological and/or social limitations to make the best choices for themselves and their child/ren’s holistic health and development.

I am a new facilitator with COSP (June 2024) with many years of experience facilitating parent groups. I have an education and a 20 year background in Early Childhood Education and am passionate about building and strengthening relationships between parents/caregivers, and their children! I am available to facilitate programs during the evenings and weekends, both online and in person.

I am a home visitor and use this for our visits. I enjoy working in groups. I encourage both parents to come. I am open for weekend training. I am inclusive and promote a safe space for all.
