I have been a Child & Family Therapist for the past 12 years. All of my work is based on the research of neurobiology and the science of attachment. I facilitate therapy using the following evidence-based modalities: Circle of Security Parenting, Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing, Parent Child Interaction Therapy (IoWA Model), Child Parent Psychotherapy, Mulit-Dimensional Family Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I provide COSP groups virtually and in person, via my agency, The Attachment & Trauma Center of Nebraska. I can be reached at jayna@atcnebraska.com.

The work I do in early childhood connects me with children, families and child care providers including licensed and exempt providers. I am new to the COSP family and hope to get this training going in our communities soon.

​With over 16,000 hours working in the field of Autism support, and as the mother of four (including two children with Autism and ADHD), Jaimee Bryce (she/her) has a wealth of professional and personal experience to share with families. Jaimee studied psychology at Vancouver Island University and achieved an Autism Spectrum Disorder Certificate from Okanagan College. She worked at Starbright Child Development Centre in the Autism department for 9 years, first as a Behaviour Interventionist and then as a Senior Behaviour Interventionist until the program closed in Dec. 2019. She then moved on to Reach the Peak, supporting children and families as an Autism Program Consultant and Family Systems Consultant.

Jaimee is committed to continuing education, having pursued professional development training in areas such as interoception, executive functioning, AAC, Social Thinking, trauma responsive practice, non-violent crisis intervention and Circle of Security.

​Jaimee specializes in amplifying the powerful voices of families through advocacy. She is passionate about supporting families to develop skill, confidence, routines, self-care, and connections that allow both children and adults to learn, grow and shine.

Jaimee will be offering day and evening Circle of Security groups to caregivers of children with neurodiversities starting Fall 2023 at Claro Learning Centre in Kelowna.

I have extensive experience working with children, young people and families. I have facilitated Circle of Secuirty in an NGO setting within the child protection sector. I have gained plenty of knowledge and experience working with a diverse range of people and being able to facilitate this program appropriately with individuals experiencing mental health issues, domestic violence, poverty, inter-generational trauma, drug and alcohol issues.

I work in an outpatient private practice that uses attachment theory, trauma, and neuroscience to support parents and families. I use the Circle of Security parenting program to help parents to understand what their children are communicating to them through their behavior. I can deliver the parenting program via telehealth or face to face. Please contact me if you have questions or are interested in learning how to use the COS approach with your children.
