I am a person centered, trauma informed provider in rural Oregon.

At Fresh Start Support Services we strive to provide a safe and supportive environment for families, by offering programming that will aid parents and their children in developing the skills required to end the cycle of hurt and poverty. To sever cycles of trauma and to foster attachment in the infant-parent relationship, building healthier family units integrated into their own communities. Our desire is to support women during their pregnancy and following birth, through encouragement, system navigation, and practical support. And, above all, to put Christ’s love into action.

I am a Clinical Psychologist with fifteen years of experience working in the field of psychology. I believe in creating a safe space, where you feel comfortable and supported to unpack the challenges you are facing. I have a warm, empathetic, and strengths-based approach to therapy. Together, we can look at the combination of situations, patterns, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that have come together and led you to where you are now. This, allows us to find a different perspective, strategies, and tools for you to move towards better mental health and wellbeing.
I have a holistic approach and tailor therapy to the specific needs of individuals. I truly believe in empowering individuals, walking alongside them, and working collaboratively.

Early intervention and parenting is my passion and I strive to help more parents feel connected to their children and enhance the well-being of the whole family.

I trained to deliver COSP in 2015 with Bert Powell, and again with Bert Powell did the 10 day intensive on the COS protocol in Rome, 2016. Having had a holding and valuable experience being a parent myself in a group, I’m always happy to talk about and promote COSP and the Circle of Security community.

I am a humanistic integrative counsellor and psychotherapist (BACP and NCS registered), Eco-therapist, Systemic Constellations facilitator, and a Professional Coach (ICF) with private practice in the UK and online. I often integrate much of the COSP material into other work, such is it’s relevance to relational awareness and accessibility around attachment.
I continue to study and develop professionally and I look forward to meeting parents and caregivers who want to know more about COSP.

GROUPS:
The groups I run will tend to be weekly, intimate, and relational within the structure of COSP. They occur periodically throughout the year and will usually adhere to term times with breaks for holidays. If there is popular request groups may be run in different formats. I work both in-person and online, with groups, and couples.
We run special groups online for new fathers, separated parents, DV groups, and BAME groups. We hope to offer in-person groups in partnership with Devon based counselling charity. Those on groups have the option to participate in additional Ecotherapy to support them.

I facilitate COS groups for parents to learn COS skills and to create community with other parents.

I have taking the training COS- p many years ago and have been in contact with stine Lier many times over the years. I forgot my password. And my email is no longer zb5w@sof.kk.dk but zb5w@kk.dk. I have had a licence in many years and hope it will all work out so I can keep continue working with Cos- p which helps many familys.
